Alas, poor kipper, I knew him well

Boris Johnson was recently pictured, holding up a kipper and making remarks about EU regulations. Remarks that turned out to be false, like so much of what he has said about the EU.

Are we, in fact, seeing the end of the Conservative Party as it used to be? Is Boris merely trying to eat the breakfast of the former UKIPpers (currently labelled the Brexit Party, but should really be known as the Nigel Farage Appreciation Society Ltd)?

It has been written that Brexit is merely a way of destroying current society - of wiping away any and all rules that get in the way of making fat profits. No wonder Rees-Mogg was lounging so carelessly across the front bench of the Commons last night. He was dreaming of counting all the millions of profit he will make, safe from any nasty taxmen.
